Ingredients
- Coriander seeds – 1 cup
- Chana dal – 2 tbsp
- Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp
- Urud dal – 2 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
- Dried red chilly – 1 cup (50 nos)
- Curry leaves – handful
- Asafoetida – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Preparation
Dry roast all the above ingredients except asafoetida and turmeric powder. Roast the ingredients separately over low flame till fragrant and crispy. Discard any burnt seeds while roasting chilly. After cooling down grind to fine powder along with asafoetida and turmeric powder. Store it in an airthight container.
