Protein powder| How to make protein powder at home | Vanilla protein milk powder

Step 1

Ingredients

  • Barley grains – 1 tbsp (10% protein)
  • Badam – 1 tbsp (21% protein)
  • Horse gram – 1/2 tbsp (22% protein)
  • Flax seeds – 1 tbsp (20% protein)
  • Chia seeds – 1 tbsp (16.5% protein)
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp (18% protein)
  • Oats – 2 tbsp (17% protein)
  • Walnuts – 4 nos (16% protein)
  • Pistachios – 1 tbsp (20% protein)
  • Peanuts – 1 tbsp (28.5% protein)
  • Cashew nuts – 1 tbsp (18% protein)
  • Pumpkin seeds – 1 tbsp (19% protein)

Preparation

In a heated pan dry roast all the bigger nuts together over low flame. Then dry roast all the small seeds together except oats. When half done add oats and roast till crispy. Leave it for cooling.

Step 2

Ingredients

  • Milk powder – 5 tbsp
  • Vanilla powder – 1 tsp

Preparation

After cooling down grind the roasted mix (step 1) to a fine powder. Add the above ingredients and mix well. Store it in an air tight container. Add a scoop of this powder in your shakes, smoothies, oats porridge etc…
